Advanced Social Media and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Training

This 40-hour hands-on course contains the most up-to-date and innovative SOCMINT and OSINT investigation methodology and techniques. This course is designed specifically for those working within the law enforcement community. Although this is an advanced level course, it will be presented from a law enforcement point of view, it will therefore benefit experienced (but non-technical) members of the law enforcement community wishing to attend. Anyone engaged in any aspect of social media, mobile applications or internet investigations will benefit greatly for this course. This course is the longest running SOCMINT and OSINT Course offered in the United States.

Training Agenda


Attendee Requirements: Attendees are encouraged to have social media accounts set up for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn for the class use only. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop computer configured with  Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux operating systems. Each attendee’s computer should have the ability to access a 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi network in an unrestricted or unfiltered nature.
