Online Photo & Video Investigations for Law Enforcement

Over one billion pictures and videos are uploaded to social networking sites and mobile apps daily. These images and videos are proving to be the perfect crime-solving partners. What are you doing to capture and preserve this information? This new course for 2017 covers all aspects that investigators will encounter while working with online photos and videos.

This training is hosted by Broward College Institute of Public Safety in Davie, Florida. Computers will be provided for each student during the training and each student will be provided a USB  containing all the software presented in the class.

 Attendee Requirements: Attendees are encouraged to have accounts set up for YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for class use only. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop computer configured with  Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS X, or Linux operating systems. Each attendee’s computer should have the ability to access an 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi network in an unrestricted or unfiltered nature.
